A shared inbox for your whole team
Every visitor conversation lands in one queue. Agents see who is waiting, who is assigned, and what each visitor has already said, without switching between tools.
Chats are routed automatically, or not at all
A new chat can be handled three ways, set once in your workspace settings:
- Least busy, the default: the chat goes to whichever online agent currently has the fewest open conversations.
- Round robin: chats are handed out in turn, so no one agent gets a run of back-to-back conversations.
- Manual: new chats sit unassigned in the queue until an agent claims one.
Each agent also has a maximum number of chats they can be assigned at once, so routing never piles more onto someone who is already at capacity. If every agent is at their limit, the chat waits in the queue rather than overloading whoever is online.
You can see when someone is typing
Typing shows up in real time on both sides. A visitor sees when an agent is replying, so a short wait feels like a conversation rather than a stall, and an agent sees when a visitor is still composing a longer message before it arrives.
Visitor context in the conversation
The dashboard shows visitor location, device and visit history alongside the chat, so an agent can answer with the visitor in mind rather than starting from nothing.
One queue, no seat limit
Add as many team members as you need. The plan has no seat limit, so adding a helper for a busy afternoon, or scaling to twenty agents, costs nothing extra beyond the one monthly price.
Canned responses for repeat questions
Save replies for the questions that come up often. Canned responses are available on every plan, so the whole team uses the same answers instead of everyone writing their own version.
For the replies that go in the shared list, see the canned response examples and the guide on writing them so they sound human. To send a chat event elsewhere when it is assigned or closed, see webhooks and API access.
