Terms of Service
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of LiveChatDock, provided by DataConflux, 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.
2. The service
LiveChatDock provides a live chat widget, shared team inbox, and related tools for talking to your website visitors. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product evolves.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the conduct of any team member you invite to your workspace.
- You must provide accurate account and billing information.
4. Subscription & billing
- New workspaces get a 14-day free trial, no card required to start.
- After your trial, continuing to use LiveChatDock requires an active paid subscription, billed monthly via Stripe.
- You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's billing page; cancellation stops future billing but we don't provide refunds for partial billing periods already paid.
- If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you a grace period before restricting access to your workspace.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LiveChatDock to:
- Send spam, malware, or unlawful content through the chat widget.
- Attempt to access another workspace's data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the service without our written permission.
- Disrupt or overload the service (e.g. automated abuse of the API).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your data
You own the data you and your visitors generate through your workspace (conversations, contacts, settings). We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
We own LiveChatDock's software, branding, and design. You retain ownership of your own content and data. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.
8. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We'll do our best to give notice of planned maintenance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveChatDock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You may stop using LiveChatDock and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms and don't fix it after we notify you.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and notify active customers of material changes by email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
